Free (nook/Kindle/iTunes/DRM-free) Art of Caregiving [Christian Cancer Coping Advice]

The Art of Caregiving: How to Lend Support and Encouragement to Those with Cancer by Michael S. Barry is a self-help advice book for caretakers of cancer patients, free courtesy of Christian publisher David C. Cook.

This is a repeat freebie from last year.

I had a quick skim through this, and though it's peppered with religious quotations to introduce the sections, the actual guidance section seems to be fairly standard straightforward non-denominational tips on strategies to help make the patient feel better, so possibly even non-religious caretakers may be able to make use of it.

Currently free, probably just for the next two days @ B&N (may also drop later in the UK), Amazon UK (slated to drop in the main store after midnight Pacific Time), Kobo (not available to Canadians), iTunes & Google Play (both available to Canadians), and also ChristianBook (DRM-Free ePub available to selected countries), and possibly several other stores linked in the publisher's catalogue page.

Description
Written to encourage the caregiver, The Art of Caregiving will be a candle of joyful hope to the one whose life has taken on unique new challenges when a loved one faces cancer.

Cancer treatment is often a nighttime journey through a wilderness, during which patients and their caregivers are confronted with worry and fear; a journey where the slightest flicker of hope means more than words can express.

Michael S. Barry shows how, with God's help, you can be the light of hope for those who bear the burden of illness.
