This newspaper article is about a product announcement from a trade show about a soon-to-be-released ereader, and sums up some of the features of this Kobo device straight from the product brochures and almost all made claims are accompanied with phrases such as: "Kobo claims", "Kobo told us", "Kobo said", "which the firm [Kobo] says"

It is totally impossible to review a product on a trade show floor. A basic impression is all you can get and doesn't say that much as there is no side by side comparison with other readers or measured results about contrast, speediness, etc. that puts the reader in perspective and if it keeps up to competitive devices.

This quote says it all:

… but our short hands-on time at IFA suggested that Kobo has worked to improve this, as it seemed to function very fluidly.
I'm looking forward to read real and independent reviews and test.
