List View problems with 2.1

The list view doesn't stretch across the screen like it used to. Instead, everything is pushed to the left, cutting off book titles and leaving a blank space on the right. I only show title, author, size and file type, but this has never been a problem until I upgraded to 2.1 (I skipped from 1.48 to 2.1). I'm on a 13" MacBook Pro running OSX 10.9.4 (in case that is any help in solving this issue).

I tried changing to narrow view, with the book cover & info on the bottom but it made no difference in how the list view is displayed. It still fills only half the available space. I can stretch the columns to where I want them to my heart's content, only to have them right back where they want to be once I restart Calibre. The window stays where I put it when in cover view, but I prefer using list view.

How do I get Calibre to keep my column width preferences?

IIRC There is another recent thread with the 'settings not sticking' issue.

This thread can be closed. The problem has been fixed and will be available with next Friday's release.

Thank you! I didn't see the other thread. The columns not behaving is a little thing, but sometimes those little things can be huge.
