Embed ex-libris to Calibre

Hello there,

I just see the "ex-libris" plugin no longer works with version 2 of Calbre.

It's a shame because it allowed to create on the fly (on several ebooks at the same time) an additional page containing the back cover accessible by an entry in the table of contents.

Would not it be possible to integrate this function directly in Calibre?
There would be no more problems and compatibility and the option will always be available.

Thanks a lot

Why not send a PM to the ex-libris plugin creator asking for it to be updated to work with Calibre 2.0 (i.e., Qt5)?

I read that after I made the suggestion. The only other suggestion is to stick with Calibre 1.48. But then, you lose anything fixed and anything new added to Calibre.

Those that discover one of the plugins they use has not been converted cannot say they weren't informed - the release notes for Version 2.0 has

Quote:
For a summary of the major changes in calibre between 1.0 and 2.0, see http://calibre-ebook.com/new-in/eleven
And therein we find this
Quote:
Now uses Qt 5

calibre uses the Qt graphical toolkit. In version 2.0, calibre has migrated to Qt 5. This brings with it several important bug fixes...

The move to Qt 5 meant that many calibre plugins needed to be updated... most plugins have already been ported. A detailed list is maintained at the porting page.
One might assume bibliophiles would read the release notes

As the developer has no time, I have posted a ported version to the Ex Libris thread. Please test it and report there the results.
