Calibre no longer converting DRM-azw?
I usually convert my bought azw(3) to epub for easy use on other devices.

After a long break from Calibre I installed Calibre portable vs. 1.33 and then 1.47.

Suddenly Calibre does no longer automatically remove the DRM as it did before (I assume a change from Amazon?).
An upgrade to vs. 2.0 is not possible since Calibre immediatley crashes
It does not matter if I try to convert to mobi or epub.

I do not ask for a way to remove DRM (so I hope the thread is ok) but would like to know if Calibre no longer un-DRM?

With the correct plugin, drm is removed.

...and just to clarify... unmodified copies of Calibre have never done DRM removal.

Don't want anybody getting the wrong idea.

It still does a DRM rip, just get the latest version of Apprentice Alf tool, and all should be fine.

Seems I forgot to restart Calibre after installing a plugin and therefore got the impression that it does not work.

Does so now, everything's fine.
