Kindle 4 Black bricked
regards,
First of all. Congratulations for the community, and apologize for my English. I have a Kindle 4 Black (D01100) With Doukan installed. Having started with Kindle OS, I downloaded a book collection on kindle, and memory stayed full. Everything worked normal that night read a book. The next morning restart the Kindle to boot into Duokan, but the bar, which indicates the system load was left alone to 20 percent. Reading the forum, try Kubrick to unbrick it, but I remain worse. now have a black screen. My case is very similar to that solved in this post: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=223799 At first I detailed everything. because I think that somehow the boot sector is still trying to boot with Doukan, but for some reason when it's full memory do not make it. The black screen that displays is identical to that shown in that entry. In this entry, ixtab indicates that follow a series of steps: Quote:

My guess is that step (manually boot using usb downloader to main mode with imx_usb) was what helped, because everything else I am doing well. I charged my kindle. I do the test and after connect it to the wall charger to keep it charged. The problem is I know not perform step 2, I am totally novice in this hack my devices. Please help me step by step: How to manually boot using usb downloader to main mode with imx_usb? I have installed Ubuntu on my computer, I have also in the USB The Kubrick distribution. Please do not go thinking like a wimp who wants to give everything easily. I have searched in the forum for two days. But I do not understand anything, I need something more detailed, like the like: 1.-download this tool. 2.-runs given command. Detailed something a total novice, to: How to manually boot using usb downloader to main mode with imx_usb? Thanks for everything. |
