Buying Sony Books

Hi

I love my new Sony Reader and have some books on it from Fictionwise but I am finding that the books available there are not really what I would normally read.

Can I buy the Sony format "bestsellers" such as James Patterson anywhere else other than the Sony Connect Shop? Im hoping that some other place will sell them and accept non USA credit card.

Cheers
Dawn

Fictionwise has almost all of Pattersons books in Microsoft Reader (.lit) format. This format is easy to convert to the .lrf format needed by Sony. See this thread.

Hi Bob

Thanks so much for your reply. I didnt know that I could easily convert the Microsoft Reader books, I already have a heap of Patterson in .lit format.

I was looking at the multiformat book section on Fictionwise and I couldnt find much at all that I wanted to read, so this is a great help.

Thanks
Dawn

Dawn,

Check the law in your country. In many countries, removing DRM is illegal. I don't know whether or not it is in Australia.
