help with kobo vox

ok I think its great that you developers and others are sharing your knowledge with hobbists on how to use adb

having said that, I have no interest in learning adb or andriod file systems or any of that and I also have too many other technical pursuits to find time even if I did care.

can someone tell me an easy way to get root or user control over system so I can uninstall and or delete useless programs and processes?

I am able to pull and flash internal sd if necessary but not interested in typing code

anyone have a backup copy of a working rom that is rooted?
