Adding Keynote Files

I use Calibre to manage a host of documents in addition to e-books. I was able to add Keynote 5 files (.key) intermittently...some would add some would not. Keynote 6 files will not add at all. The following error occurs...

"Failed to read metadata from the following"

Any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks.

That message simply means metadata could not be read from the file, the file will still be added.

Thank you for the quick reply. It does appears that Calibre adds the file, but it actually is not being added. It shows up in the List or Cover view, but when I click on it I get an 'Error: Cannot view' dialog that states the file "has no available formats. When I right click on the entry in the List or Cover view and select 'Open containing folder' the file is not in the directory. The only thing in the directory is a 'metadata.opf' file. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Thank you in advance

Then open a bug report and attach a .key file that calibre fails to add.
