OLPC redesigned as ebook reader
This past week the one laptop per child project announced a redesign of their laptop to look and function like a two page ebook reader. See story:http://www.telegraph.co.uk/connected...llaptop122.xml
I believe they are planning on a version of XP as the OS which may mean we can install our favorite etext reader software. The first version of the OLPC incorporated solar charging technology, and I expect that will not change. |

That looks like a really interesting design. If they can get close to the $75 mark they're suggesting it'll be an impressive feat.
