Synchronising all books between 2 different kobo's ?

I have a Glo and a Aura-HD and I would all books on the readers the same, so 20 books on my Glo and the same 20 books on my Aura-HD.
When I use calibre, I can see wich books are on my Glo.
But when I hook up my Aura HD next to the Glo on another USB-port of the computer, I can't compare what books are on the different devices.
You will only see one device in Calibre.
Is it just as simple as it looks, go to the internal drive of the Glo (lets say drive F ) and copy all books to the internal drive of the Aura-HD that is allso hooked up on the computer, lets say drive G and the Aura-HD will update the database itself ??
I could try, but I am afraid to destroy the database if books where put on memory without the kobo software or Calibre.

In essence, all calibre does when sending a book to the device is to copy it there. Yes, it updates the metadata first, but after that, it is a simple file copy. So, yes, you can copy sideloaded books from the drive of one device to the drive of another. When you disconnect, the device will process the new books and add them to the internal database and hence the library.

But, don't copy the downloaded kepubs. These are added to the device and database in different ways. Copying the files for these books won't work.

Check into the Reading List plugin within calibre and have it set a custom column per device if a book is on that device.

Then it is an easy to co!pare columns in calibre.

Sorry right now I am travelling with no PC so screen prints are out of the question.
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=134856 is the link to the forum thread on the plugin.

Basically you would create two different reading lists and configure each one to update a custom calibre column based on books present on A device.

I am busy playing with it, but the custom column per device if a book is on that device setting, I cannot find.. language problem I think,I don't fully understand what you mean but I gonna play with it further, for now I connect my Aura HD, set the calibre list to books on that device, then add them to my default list.
Then I disconnect, and while on that default list, I connect the glo, then I select the books that are on the default list, but not on the glo, and send them all to it,and Clear the list after that.. but maybe that is just what you ment me to do
