changing the battery

few month ago i tried to change the half dead battery of my glo , by replacing with a universal battery 6000ma without success.
for sure a 6000ma battery wont feet inside , but i was ready to have the battery stick under my glo ... 0.3mm not a big deal

so i could open the connector of the battery by being careful starting by the back side of the wire , then i connect the new one , it's power on few second and nothing anymore even if i connect the usb ... like a security somewhere ..
i try several time without succes ... then i connected the 1000ma battery , it was stile working.

so if anyone tried and success or know how to buy the official battery
enjoy

It's just a two wire connection, with a + and - line. To transfer data (for security) you would need a third cable. In theory it is possible to transfer data and power over just two wires, but the circuit would be more expensive than a third wire.

My speculation:
I don't think the electronics inside the Kobo can sense what battery is connected. It just needs to be a charged, single-cell LiPo battery (3.7V nominal, 3.6V-4.2V during operation).
