What is metadata_pre_restore.db ?

A brand new library was created by entering in a bunch of books. I ran Check Library, and see only one error:

Invalid authors - metadata_pre_restore.db

I never manually backed up or restored - what is this file that it's complaining about? Should I get rid of it?

@mlevin77 - The the only time I see such a file is if I do a Library Maintenance->Restore database, which at end displays what you see in the attachment. If you never did a Restore database on the library then something else must be creating it, although I've no idea what that could be.
