Why doesn't H2O show up on Kobo's website?
When I surf over to Kobo's website and go to ereaders H2O isn't listed http://www.kobo.com/devices#ereaders You have to specifically search for it http://www.kobo.com/koboaurah2o#overview

Is it because I'm surfing in Sweden?

It's the country. The Aura H2O isn't available in Australia and it isn't on the site from here either.

You can buy H2O in a shop in Belgium (Brussels) I don't see H2O on Kobo website.

Kobo H2O reader is sold as premium read with best; screen resolution, contrast, front light, and bigger screen . It should have good profit margin, and new owner buys many books from Kobo. Like Aura HD limited edition they should be selling every H2O they can get during first months of sales. I suspect supply unable to meet demand is only reason they are not yet widely available in some countries including Australia.

New Kobo devices have been turning up about two months after release elsewhere. But, on another forum, someone has said they were told by Kobo that the Aura H2O will get here in January. If that's the case, it has to be supply issues as not having this available for Christmas is crazy.

I used Tor to bounce my geolocation around the world and it does appear that what devices you see depends on where the Kobo servers think you are located.

Yeah it sounds like it's a location issues on the website. David has the best idea with changing your simulated location with a VPS.

I have been checking Kobo's official retailers' websites (BookWorld, Angus) and the ETA for it is late Jan.

The funny thing is when they first placed the H2O on their website (still not available for pre-order), I swear it was $219.
Now, it is available for pre-order but the price has gone up to $229.

They probably put it up with the details for the HD and then "fixed" it. Or maybe the exchange rate has changed it.
