Anyone tried both M96 & M96 Plus?

Hello folks,

Has anyone tried both M96 and M96 Plus? I'm itching to swap my M96 for the Plus version, but I'm not sure how much of a difference the extra ram, improved screen, cpu and larger storage make.

If you've tried both, have you noticed much of a difference?

bump?

Somewhat apologies for resurrecting this thread, though I'm guessing it was missed because of the Xmas period.

I've searched hard and can't find much direct comparison info.

Basically (like bsnick) I want to know whether the extra RAM of m96plus makes much difference over the standard m96's performance. I'm looking at buying one [owner of nook simple touch for many years - almost never use it because too small]. Would I regret saving almost $100 (AUD) by buying the 512mb m96 rather than the Plus? I will use it mostly to read academic pdf.

How do the two compare?

I don't really want to wait for the 13.3" reader (in case it never comes).

Thanks.

I'm not sure if there are users having both.I bout the Plus version because it was available.

Anyway, I'm waiting the Android version gets faster and more robust. It's still somewhat buggy :/

I also hope someday Onyx supports KOreader development. I prefer it over most other ereader software, it's very promising and FOSS.
