Is there a setting to change all accented characters to the corresponding character

I am going through my library and finding authors duplicated. One in the regular alphabet and the other with accents or a c cedilla etc.

Is there a setting in Calibre to translate these characters to the corresponding "regular" character. EG c cedilla would become c, e grave or e acute would be e etc.

The Quality Check plugin can do that.
