Hi, I've just run the Check Database feature from Kobo Utils plugin in Calibre and my results are the next:
Code:
Result of running 'PRAGMA integrity_check' on database on the Kobo device: rowid 740 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 1349 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 2759 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 4580 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 4811 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 6672 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 7101 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 8612 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 8659 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 8763 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 8777 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 10418 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 11508 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 11598 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 13395 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 16115 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 16452 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 16926 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 19456 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 20656 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 20977 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 22048 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 23103 missing from index analytics_events_timestamp rowid 23131 missing from index analytics_events_timestamp wrong # of entries in index analytics_events_timestamp wrong # of entries in index sqlite_autoindex_AnalyticsEvents_1 rowid 26847 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26848 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26849 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26850 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26851 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26875 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26877 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 26879 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 27643 missing from index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId rowid 27643 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_volume_shortcovers_1 rowid 27644 missing from index sqlite_autoindex_volume_shortcovers_1 wrong # of entries in index volume_shortcovers_shortcoverId wrong # of entries in index sqlite_autoindex_volume_shortcovers_1 Is it worth resetting the device? Are these errors important or just trivial? Is there a way to fix them without resetting the device? (I ask this because resetting it is a big PITA: set up kobo account again, set up wifi again, set up the webbrowser favourites again, possibly downgrade from the 3.3.0 FW I'm going to receive that I don't like because of the web-browser impossible use, re-send all the books from Calibre, etcetera, etcetera) Hints are really welcomed. |

yup exit out of your kobo account and log back in. unfortunately you must wait for the device to process all your books. If you backed up before and the back did not include a corrupted version you should be fine and can restore your back up copy. Unfortunately no other way around this as far as I know.

There is a way to disable Google Analytics from functioning on your AuraHD. It should be in PeterT's List of Hacks and Mods.

arspr: As GeoffR said, the browser favourites and some other things are in the config file. You can take a copy of it and restore it later to get them back.
But, as it happens, those database errors are fixable. They all appear to be errors in the indexes. You should be able to to use an SQLite dabatabase management tool to rebuild the indexes. I normally use SQLite Manager which is a Firefox plugin. It has options to reindex each of the indexes. |

Thanks guys.
I'll try playing a little with the tools you have hinted when I have some time. The worst that can happen is a forced reset I suppose... I'll keep you updated. EDITED --------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've Reindexed the two conflictive tables with SQLite Manager and now I get an OK result. Thank you very much.
