How Long?

So, Kobo is replacing my Kobo aura because of a bug. They said they're mailing it to me... and that's the last I heard of it. Does anyone know how long it generally takes? I've got some reading to do, and I don't particularly like using PDF on the touch. :P Thanks for answers.

I'd also like to say that I don't know where all the horror stories about their customer service come from; apart from not giving me a detailed date or the like, I'm more than satisfied with the service I received both over the phone and via email.

Why not ask Kobo? You can go open a chat and be talking to someone that can assist you pretty quickly. When they replaced my Glo it took about a week as I recall, that was over a weekend too as I recall submitting the required photos on a Friday night, so it may be quicker if they ship at the beginning of the week. I believe they told me two weeks, but it was much quicker. YMMV.

They sent me a replacement and it was sent Canadian Priority. I'm not in Canada, but it took 3 days to arrive and clear customs. So fast. Not overnight, but definitely expedited.

I too had an easy time with Kobo Customer Service. Glad you did as well!

Where is this online chat function on the Kobo site? I don't see anything like that.

I'm in the same boat, they agreed immediately to send me a replacement unit due to a screen that is tinted yellow on the top half and blue on the bottom half. No tracking number or ship date though, and now no response to my latest email....
