Free Kindle content and debit/credit card
I apologise if this seems like a stupid question.
I purchase Kindle ebooks in a foreign currency and have to pay fees for the transaction. I have "bought" some free Kindle books for £0.00. Does Amazon debit anything from debit/credit cards for these transactions? Even if the transaction is 1p, I still have to pay 46c (Euro) in transaction fees. I think I understand your question. My credit card has never been "charged" for a free book purchase.

I buy gift cards in stores & add them to my account. Amazon Doesn't Demand Cr/debit cards in USA. So IF you can buy gift card I go that way.
