Calibre 2 & OSX 10.8
I cannot get the new version to run.
tried downloading several times from both sites and always get this error: ...calibre, version 2.0.0 ERROR: Startup error: There was an error during calibre startup. Parts of calibre may not function. Click Show details to learn more. Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/main.py", line 238, in initialize_db_stage2 File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/main.py", line 188, in start_gui File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/ui.py", line 249, in initialize File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/layout.py", line 300, in init_main_window_mixin AttributeError: 'Main' object has no attribute 'setUnifiedTitleAndToolBarOnMac' ... Delete the file
~/Library/Preferences/calibre/tweaks.py and you should be fine. |
