I kind of got that. When I was looking at Paperwhites (finally determined I didn't like the backlight ... err ... frontlight ... sorry) I was thinking of getting the following case. It seemed like a pretty good compromise between price and quality ...
http://www.amazon.com/OMOTON-thinnes...erwhite+omoton It has really good reviews. Last edited by rcentros; 05-26-2014 at 07:33 AM. |

Please note that the PW, like all eInk readers, doesn't have a backlight; it has a FRONTlight. An eInk screen is opaque, and hence cannot be backlit. The screen is illuminated from the front, via a light diffuser.

Yes, I never thought about upgrading until now. I bought it when it first came out. It has served me well. I wanted a lighted ereader now, so that is why I was thinking of upgrading. They seem to be pretty good at this point.

The Amazon cover for the PW is great. Or there are knock-offs on places like Ebay.
