1st Generation a/c adapter and cable

I called B&N looking for another cable and a/c adapter for my Nook 1stG and told me they did not have them anymore. I was very frustrated with their lack of support of their product. I did find an aftermarket package on ebay for $8.99 for the cord with a/c adapter, usb cord, and car charger though.

All Nook e-ink e-readers use regular USB charging. You can use any USB charger. You do not need a special cable or charger.

Yes I know, I just wanted an OEM one.

No reason to get the OEM one--any microusb charger will work. I use the one I got with my original nook to charge my Kindle PW and my Sony readers. If you really want an OEM charger, just order the charger for the newer nooks from B&N--I'm pretty sure it's the same as the original nook charger.
