Just curious, after bought ereader,do you solely read almost every book in ereader or mixed(such as ereader on subway book at home),I only mean those books as hobby ,don't include books for work and study

Initially I did both, but I switched exclusively. I find paper books to just be too heavy/obnoxious to deal with. Especially since getting a lighted ereader, I just can't imagine reading any other way.
Though I may break this rule because I found the entire Little House set at the thrift store and grabbed it for my daughter. These aren't available (legally) as ebooks in the US and I have actively been missing them. (We had a couple of "snowstorms" and reading The Long Winter when getting snowed in is a childhood habit and I really craved it.) I do read paper/board books to my kids, but to me that falls under work/study. |

All ereader, all the way. I was looking at some of my paperbacks the other day and I don't know if my eyes used to be better or I was just used to it, but man those fonts are tiny.

50-50; there are still way too many books I want to read that are print only, and many of them may never be digitized.

All ereader. I don't think I've read a paper book since 2011.

almost all my fiction books are on the ereader, except not poetry and plays. i just haven't been thrilled with poetry and drama formatting on the ereader yet. and occasionally i get a physical book as a gift.
but especially when i'm travelling ... ereader all the way. |

I do almost all of my reading on my Kindle. If someone buys me a physical book I will read it, but I don't purchase them.

I still own a couple thousand paper books, but have only read a handful since going digital in 2007.

Mixed.
As it is, I just started reading a paperback yesterday. It was To Say Nothing of the Dog, by Connie Willis. I've been meaning to read it for some time. The ebook version would have cost about $7 -- I found it for 50 cents at a thrift store. It's the same book, and I am "cost conscious." I prefer the ereader -- a lot -- but I'm not willing to pay that much of a premium for an ebook. |

![]() That and not having to fight with the tight binding of today's paperbacks. They didn't used to be this tight, did they? Its like a painful wrist workout trying to keep them open. Those were my last paper library checkouts. I had a hard time enjoying the actual reading with the squinting and the prying open of the book. So I read my books on my e-reader now. I said it before, I went from reading about 5 books a year to reading 189 in my first full year with my first e-reader back in 2008/2009. |

All ereader. I'm still in the process of replacing all my paper "keepers" with ebook versions. I've got about half done and am waiting until the ebook is published or the price drops for the rest. New books are all ebooks. Not counting cookbooks and some but not all non-fiction.
