Display Char Value

I thought that at one time I had seen a display of the value of a character (lower right corner maybe??)

Something like putting the cursor after a em dash and and seeing the numeric value

I'm using 1.35 of the editor, and I don't see it. Am I mis-remembering?

You are not misremembering and it still works.

Maybe you have the relevant tick box in Preferences>Editor Settings not ticked?
