Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight upgrades
My parents bought simple touch with glowlight the first year that it was available. What advancement(s) has B&N been able to make available in the current model of the Nook Glow Light to make it worth their while to purchase new models? Does B&N have a trade in program by which my folkes can up grade to the newest model at a discount?

The new GlowLight has the new 1024x758 screen as opposed to the 800x600 of the original, and the software has been tweaked, but overall, it's very similar, same internals (processor, memory, battery, ...). Also worth of note is that the new GlowLight does not have buttons or SD card slot.
In my opinion, the new GlowLight is a poor upgrade (and in some aspects, a downgrade) from the original Glowlight, there are better options out there, so I would not recommend it. |

I have heard that the current model of nook is smaller than the original and a bit lighter too, although that is where my information ends. Has B&N made any breakthroughs in the front lighting, making it light more evenly? Have they put in a faster processor? There must be some strides in the screen design.
