New IOS app indicator of more firmware updates to come?

I can not help but wonder if the new IOS app that was released to the iphone and that would be a newer one after the earlier release in April is an impending indicator of yet another release to come on the heels of the 3.3.0 firmware. It would seem that there are some bugs yet to be cleaned up in the 3.3.0 although to date it is clean and seems to be an overall improvement, to be fair all updates so far are overall improvements.

From what I have seen, the release of the iOS app and ereader firmware are independent. I think the only reason they would tie them together is if they changed something about the kepub format.

If another firmware is released soon, it will be for other reasons

I think Sharkus(Kobo iOS developer) may have also made the comment that there is generally no parity between releases for different platforms...
