Error trying to copy June 2014 issue of Analog to Kobo Aura HD

Hi,

I have just downloaded the latest issue of Analog (June 2014) using my Nook app and loaded into Calibre. I can read it okay in Calibre but when I try to send it to my Kobo Aura HD, I get the following error:

All plugins are up to date or, at least, Calibre doesn't tell me there are new versions of the plugins.

I've tried converting the book from epub to epub but that had no effect at all.

Any suggestions welcome! Apologies if I should have posted this elsewhere (Devices sub-forum maybe?).

Sorry for bad manners but I will answer my own thread.

The problem remains for my original epub from Dell but properly doing an epub to epub conversion in Calibre fixed it. The first time I tried, I actually only updated the metadata. The converted epub uploads just fine.

Not sure what Dell have done this month as all previous Analogs (and Asimovs as well) have gone through just fine.

I had a similar problem with Asimov's this month. The editor Run Check failed with a error, something to do with badly formed xhtml. Beautify fixed the problem, whatever it was.

Still, the quality of epubs from Dell Mags is getting worse.

Yes, this is my experience as well. How hard can it be? Sigh.
