Manually tweak date (& time?) added?
Say I have books 1 and 3 of a trilogy, and add them to calibre. A year later I finally locate book 2 and add it too.
Now the series is split in two different places in my library (which I like keeping sorted with newest books at the top). Is there a way I can change the date-added info in a sufficiently fine-grained manner that calibre's sorting would insert book 2 in-between books 1 and 3? Say, 1 second after the time that I added book 1, but before book 3. (I'm actually trying to insert a dozen scattered issues into a 100-issue magazine run, so it's a little bit more complex than the above...) |

You can edit day month and year, that should be quite sufficient, unless you insist on preserving the day, in which case you will need to edit the metadata.db file directly using a sqlite browser tool.
