Adding file...
I got my new laptop. I have saved the 'Calibre' file from my old laptop. How do I add this to Calibre so I do not have to re-add all the books/files/folders individually.

![]() You need to copy 2 folders 1)the one that contains TheLibrary in its entirety (the folder contents that HOLDS the Authors folders) The Settings (preferences) The way I did it 1)I install Calibre on the new machine. 2)I open the Configuration Folder (Preferencs:Misc) LEAVE IT OPEN 3)Stop Calibre Now replace the entire contents of the configuration folder with the one from your old LT Do the same for the Library Folder CONTENTS (replace if asked) Start Calibre. Don't panic. You might need to point it to the current Library location (the preferences had the old one) |
