need help plz I messed up my kobo glo

I don't know if anyone can help me I just bought my glo 2 days ago and have been trying to update it since.I don't know if a image will help or not I was trying to upload android to it but the image whatever that is is a 7z file so I couldn't even view it so frustrating I reset the glo then I tried putting my 8gb in now it wont even turn on so then I tried copying sd card the memory update thing but when I tried to create image it didn't list distribution as a label so I tried usbtool same thing I've been going over this forum the last two days trying everything so frustrated with my glo cant even view my library books on it adobe digital editions whole other problem that's why I want android so I can use overdrive I'm sorry for rambling. someone plz help

Bonnie_27: I have sent you a PM with a link to an image for the Glo. Restoring that should help.

With david's image file, proceed through the directions in the link I provided starting from the line:

"Place your new MicroSD card into your computer. Again dismiss any prompts that popup."

That should get you back to a working Glo. From there I would suggest that you try adding the alternative readers.

I understand I just followed your advice that was how I fixed it I thought I was spose to close the thread thats why I asked im sorry I didnt mean to sound rude I was just trying to follow the rules is all I am new to this but I will learn lol

you were saying I should tell how I fixed it well with davids image and the instructions to the link you provided this was how I fixed the issue and I had to make sure it was plugged into the computer while doing a soft reset thats how I got it to turn on.I hope this is a good explanation I suck at writing, grammar, punctuation etc lol.

What also would be useful is knowing what you had tried at first when things didn't work, so people can ensure that the instructions you tried at first are clarified.

I tried factory reset and soft reset but the reason why either didn't work was because it needed to be on charge while I was resetting it.
