Question about Mobi files

Can you help please some of my books have changed to Mobi file how do I change the back to just Mobi so I can read them on kindle for PC

So ... the books in question have changed to Mobi, and you want to know how to change them back to Mobi?

Especially confusing since Kindle for PC can already read Mobi.
