Smashwords query
Hi guys

I downloaded the free first paranormal series from Smashwords Jenny Pox by J L Bryan, Am totally hooked

quick query as i dont have calibre installed anymore i dont want to buy from amamzon and convert but can see that the books are available in us dollars on smashwords site. Has any uk based ebook fan bought from smashwords and if so are there any problems or is it just like buying from kobo?

I regularly buy books at Smashwords from Argentina with my credit card, issued by an argentine bank.
You should have no problems, US dollars will be converted to pounds for payment.

I've bought music downloads from the UK, which I assume would be handled in a similar fashion. All of the dollars/pounds conversion took place in the background. My bank did charge a small currency conversion fee, which appeared separately on my statement. You might want to check with your card issuer to see if they charge a similar fee and what it might be.
