Mini Coming Soon?

If you visit Kobo Mini's official website right now, you will see that it says "Coming Soon".

Now is this about the fact that there are so few Mini's around and most stores are out of stock and they will get new items soon, or is it a sign that we will see a superior new Kobo Mini perhaps with frontlight? This has been my dream since the first time I held my Mini, and I would love to see it come to life.

How do you interpret this?

I don't see "coming soon" on that page. But hey if they release a Mini HD with a light, count me in. I love the Mini!

I cannot upload the screenshot right now, but it is up there at the top of the page, on the upper right corner of the white Mini.

It also says it for the Kobo Aura and the Kobo Touch, as well.

I'm using Firefox and I'm in Peru at the moment.

I'm not seeing a "coming soon" here in Australia. It might be a regional thing if Kobo is expanding to new markets. Have they been available in Turkey and Peru before?

Canadian site says "Buy Now" but when you click the link you get "Availability: Out of Stock."

I'm seeing a "Coming Soon" as well though only for the Kobo Aura.

As mentioned, I see this on the Glo and the Touch, as well.

The 'Coming Soon' is a live link that leads one to where they can be purchased world-wide, which is the familiar page that we all have already seen on where to get these devices.

I'm in the UK and I get a similar message, if you click on the "Buy Now" button you get a page not available message, but the "Buy Now" buttons for the Touch, Glo, Aura & Aura HD all work just fine. If you click on the Kobo Mini itself, it brings up the overview page with all the specs etc, and instead of a "Buy Now" button, it instead has a "Find a retailer" button.

So it's just the Kobo Mini that has been on sale and is now no longer available. Maybe just the site for certain countries has never been updated from 'coming soon' because it's never really been available in those countries?
