cannot add book to calibredb using CLI

Hi,

I am having a problem with adding new books to calibre using CLI.
I have a server that downloads news using a build in recipe.
That is all working well and I can add it using "calibredb add <news.azw3>".
However, when I check the library (via calibre server), it shows the new book, but without any format

How can I get calibre to add the book with the format information?

Many thanks,
bump

Just a guess but if you are checking via the content server you may have to restart the content server to see the book. Again this is just a guess.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I tried that, however it does not make any difference
