"Token has expired"

There go 15 minutes of my life which it took me to write the post that just vanished into the void.

In the process I changed from the quick answer window to the full editor and got

Code:

"Your submission could not be processed because the token has expired.
Please push the back button and reload the previous window."

Only the previous window was empty. Everything wiped. Well who ever knew about "tokens" and that they expire in minutes. I for sure didn't.

Guess it will teach you to press Str-C before you submit your next lengthy post!

Check the "Remember Me" box on the login page and it will make this happen a lot less often.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. It is certainly not cool and I hope we are going to have a solution when we upgrade our forums. Meanwhile, if you're in a secure browsing environment, you could click on the "Remember Me" box as suggested by Harry.
