Bookshelf kindlet

I'm aiming at developing a bookshelf app for the kindle like the one with shelves and other stuff. Can someone give me a broad idea of how to go about doing this? I'm pretty new to kindle development and some help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Have you tried the master prefix index for links to development related things?

How about the development sections of the wiki?

Does your aim include replacing the Kindle's default "home page"?
There-in lies a whole realm of new opportunities to deal with.

I'm involved in a project to display a bookshelf with an array of kindles. Before getting to the hardware part, I was looking to develop the application for a single kindle.

Yes, with a jailbreak, I'm planning to replace the homepage.
Thanks!

You had better take another look at the master index -
It does **NOT** contain hardware only items.
