Problem setting series
Using version 1.25, I select a set of books (about 20) and click Edit metadata.
From there I enter a series name and click Apply. I get an error popup saying:

calibre, version 1.25.0
ERROR: Search/replace invalid: Search pattern is invalid: You must specify a search expression in the "Search for" field

Then I click Cancel, and the Edit Metadata window disappears, then reappears, and I have to click Cancel again.

Help?

This bug has been fixed, and Kovid uploaded a fixed version of calibre 1.25 since this is a pretty big bug. Redownload and reinstall calibre.

There was a bug in the initial version of 1.25 which has been fixed.

Re-download and reinstall 1.25 and all will be fine.
