Question Sleepcover not working

Hi,

just got a Aura HD for my birthday together with a Amazon thin case with sleepcover funtion (by coodio). I can not get the Aura HD into sleepmode by closing the case. Only by sliding the power button.

I've marked the checkbox in the settings menu.

When opening the cover, the magnet is a bit below the top right corner. It

Even using a fridge magnet of the bezel and screen I can not put the Aura HD into sleep mode.

The software version is 3.1.1. A factory reset and pinhole reset did not help.

Any ideas?

On my aura HD the sensor is located on the bottom right corner of the screen looking at the device in portrait (not on the top right corner) , and the cover have the magnet on the bottom left corner (when opened) to match the corner spot on the aura hd.

Fridge magnets are not powerful enough to activate the sensor, at least mines.

Thanks, the magnet seems to be in the wrong position. When I take the Aura HD out of the case en put the magnet in the right lower corner, it goes into sleep mode.

Is the cover not designed specifically for the Aura HD, or did they really manage to mess up with the magnet location?

The real Kobo sleep covers work just fine, of course, as do the ones commonly seen on eBay (numerous vendors; same product):

I have a Skin Digital Aura HD cover. The single magnet is in the top right corner when closed. It works perfectly!

I have a Coodio sleep cover from Amazon that works just fine. This is the one I purchased: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . If you bought the same one, perhaps they sent you the wrong model or one that is defective.

Mine is also a Coodio sleep cover. I've contacted them and they are going so send me another one. Great service by Coodio. My current cover is for the Aura HD. They messed up with the magnet position. My wife has also a Coodio sleep cover for her Aura HD. This one works perfectly.
