Those are Calibre STANDARD Icons for the Tag Browser sections.
Follow the directions in the FAQ for replacing Icons with alternates (a Blank Icon will be needed for each one). You wil NOT recover the Icon column space. |

Why not just right click on the various lines shown (Authors / Langauges etc) and select the Hide Category option...
