368Mbs of RAM used

So, is this normal memory consumption for this amount of books ???
Even when opening, 368Mbs are consumed.

Yes ! There is a lot of (in RAM) data. Add the Content server and

I just looked at My W7 x64: 1,030,008 with the content server running.

Thanks, the problem is,assume I have about 80,000 more books to add, so the memory consumption would be a problem at that time.

It could become unresponsive and/or crashed (??)

So there is no way to lower the memory issue ? Guess I'll have to create virtual memory then.

That memory usage is about normal (mine was some sort of Memory leak from days of running/sleeping).

4G Ram is a typical system these days. IIRC You can go to 64G w/W7x64
2 to 5G VM is standard for a 4G system. Did you disable yours?

Disable what sir ?
So if I just need to add books files from HDD, download metadata and nothing else, is there any way to reduce unecessary usage like from the content server or background plugins ?

VM
Windows does not recommend doing that.
