right mouse menu doesn't work

Since 0.7.3 I can't open in the editor mode the right click menu.
When opening a epub file, it works fine.
When I open the code menu and I hilight a word, and then click on the right mouse button, in 0.7.2 i get the options like copy and paste.
See this screenshot:

http://nl.tinypic.com/r/nbb1g5/5

In version 0.7.3 and 0.7.4 the menu appears for less then a second, but then only shows clips.
See this screenshot :

http://nl.tinypic.com/r/b3st93/5

(windows 7)
I already completely de-install the 0.7.2 version and deleted the Sigil.ini file as suggested, but it stay's the same.
So I am stuck on 0.7.2 that is working normal.
My idea was to extract the 0.7.3 or 0.7.4 to see the difference of the files compared with 0.7.2 or just copy the exe file.. but I can't open the Sigil executable.
Who can help me finding out what's wrong ?
Tried on my win 7 laptop but that gives the same result.

/edit only replace the 0.7.2 exe file by the 0.7.4 works still fine.. so it must be one of the .dll files that trigger this behavior.

Click on edit, preferences, open preferences location to make sure you are deleting the sigil.ini used by the 7.3 version.

Done that already. 7.2 is working, 7.3 and 7.4 don't.

Even remove all sigil keys in registry and every sigil file or related file on the harddisk.

Weird!
Work on W7 64bit, I would have noticed.

Clips (toolbar clips show first on the menu)

RENAME sigil_clips.ini, then start sigil

W7 HP (US edition). I use it every day. I am a Right click menu kinda guy.

I wonder if it is a Regional setting issue?
Do you have some other (or alternate) pointing device attached?
My Laptop has the touchpad and I have Kensington Expert Mouse (Trackball) plugged in with no issue

On my computer I use a logitech wireless mouse, on the laptop it is just the touchpad.. what is strange is that the language setting for the userinterface is english, while the interface itself is in Dutch.
I can't change it, it keeps on coming in Dutch while the settings are saying English.
But if it would be the mouse, why does 0.7.2 works okay, and the 0.7.3 or 0.7.4 don't.
I can use the executable of 0.7.4 but not the QT so I think there is something in the QT of 0.7.3 and 0.7.4 that conflicts ?

In 0.7.2 the QT version is 5.0.2
In 0.7.4 the QT is 5.1.0
I can use the exe file of 0.7.4 with the QT of 5.0.2
When I use the 0.7.2 exe with QT 5.1.0 it gives the exact same strange behaviour.
So QT 5.1.0 is the one that gives the troubles here.

Well, I don't use Sigil on Windows, so take this suggestion with a grain of salt.

Could you try installing Qt-5.11 or -5.2?

Regards,

it is not the issue of getting Sigil to the context menu, the issue is that one of the INTERNAL functions doesn't work in the program itself when trying to use the right mouse button.

Are you compiling your own?

Sigil MSI have all that is needed. There is no selection of QT to use in a standard install
I run stock Sigil 7.4 on: XP sp3, W7hp

and the Linux version that was made available

The mouse right-click works as advertised

Please read : https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...25&postcount=7 then you can see why I know that the problem is in QT 5.10 and higher.
I know there is no selection, but just open the sigil 0.7.4 installation, and replace the sigil.exe from 0.7.2 with the sigil.exe from 0.7.4 and it works with QT 5.02 so I only need the .dll files from QT 5.2 to know if it works.
The problems with sigil started with the distribution of QT 5.1 in the package.
