PRS-T3 "Table of contents" button on every page

Hi,

I recently bought a Sony PRS-T3 reader, and when I read news downloaded with Calibre, the "Table of contents" button is shown (in-screen) at the bottom of every page and I can't find a way to make it disappear.
It is annoying because it makes the text space smaller.
First I thought it had something to do with Calibre and the conversion process, but when I look at the files with the Calibre viewer, the "Table of contents" button does not show up on every page.
Now my questions are:

1. Do others have this problem, too?
2. Can this "Table of contents" button on every page be removed somehow?

Oh, I forgot to say that this not happen with books, but only with downloaded news.

Hi Leon,

I have experienced exactly the same problem. I had not found your post before and I opened a thread under the Calibre forum.

Maybe the two threads should be merged. I don't know how to do it. By default, here is the link to the other thread:

The only soluiton I have found has been to delete the newspaper from the reader and transfer it again from Calibre.

I have not identified what triggers the appearance of the [Table of Contents] button. Do you?
