Title and Author name in old ebooks?

Is tehre a way to get the full title and author from old ebooks? Munsey's has a lot of PD ebooks with file names like "witi." Is there some setting or plug in that can bring out the full title and author in the right spots? Or is it a matter of just looking up each separate book in the viewer and then typing them in?

calibre should automatically read from there on import...

If you have it set to read metadata from the filename, just switch that off while you import those.

Thank for the tip. I had to check a box to get the file to load with the name just like you said. Makes it a lot simpler to work with the files.

With the current version it is:

1. Open Calibre
2. Click on Preferences
3. Click on Change Behavior
4. Click on adding books
5. Check the box next to "Read metadata from file content rather than file name."
