K4 Mac or PC Japanese edition

When I check Amazon's Japanese site they only have apps for iOS and Android. Nothing for PC and Mac. Has this always been the case?

I have an account with Japanese Amazon and have bought a fair amount of books that I read on my phone (Android) and now I would like to move them to my PC so I have room for more books on my phone (yes, I know they are available in the cloud, but I also like to manage my notes and have a personal backup). I was under the impression that Amazon had offered the Kindle application for PC on their Japanese store as well. Can anyone confirm this?

I downloaded the kindle Mac app from amazon.com & it works fine with my amazon.jp kindle account.

I only have one kindle account. AFAIK a kindle device/app can only be linked to one account at a time.

Yes, that's true, but you can freely switch it between accounts at any time.

Except I can't connect to my Japanese account. It is obviously on Another server that K4PC doesn't have access to.
Well, it will solve itself when I get a Paperwhite from Amazon Japan, but I'm waiting to see if something new arrives in spring as intensive as the rumour is.
