Question Viewing Mobi

I've been looking for a way to change the default viewing option from epub to mobi. Is there a way to do this?

I hope this is the right place to put this.

Are you using an external Mobi viewer?? Calibre converts files to EPUB when using the internal viewer.

Preference:Behavior: Preferred OUTPUT : Mobi should help

No, I'm using the internal viewer and I already have my preferred output set to Mobi but I do all my editing to the EPUB and then convert to Mobi and use the viewer to see if formating and such are correct. So even if it is viewed as an EPUB, its still got the conversions on the Mobi, if that makes sence.

@astarinlife - if you uncheck MOBI in the Preferences->Behaviour->Use internal viewer for list, calibre will open MOBI files in the program that is associated with MOBI in your OS - such as Kindle for Windows, Stanza for OS/X etc.
