Updating Calibre to version 1.18
Hello everyone, I'm new here so please forgive me any mistakes I make. I'm trying to upgrade Calibre to the latest version (1.18 I think) but once I download the upgrade patch and I try to run it I end up in a Notebook file showing illegible wording. What am I doing wrong?

There are no patches, you upgrade by reinstalling, using the installer for the latest version. Go to http://calibre-ebook.com/download.
