Hi guys!
I am completely new to e-readers, but the whole package looks appealing, so I am thinking about buying one. ![]() I like Kobo because of the pocket integration and because they are supposed to be quite good at displaying pdf files. I am not planning to using it only for pdf, but I have some school books that are not available in any other format. About pocket: which kobo e-readers support it currently? Whole lineup? Specificly, I am interested in Touch. It is not too expensive and I don't think I am going to miss glowing e-ink display from glo. (higher resolution display would be nice, tho). what do you think? cheers ![]() |

All the current e-ink ereaders except the Mini have Pocket on them. They don't have it out of the box as it has been added in the recent firmware updates.
The Touch is a good ereader. There are two in my house that are just coming up to their second birthday. But, if you can stretch your budget, I think the Glo is worth the extra money. When I upgraded, I was after the higher resolution and the slightly faster CPU. I was not expecting to use the light. But, I probably use it more than a quarter of the time. |

Thx, for your reply.
Yes, glo looks nice, I must say. But the price difference is around 40-50€, which is not negligible. ![]() About the higher res display, does it make reading much more comfortable? Or could you easily live without it? cheers |

For now I ordered touch, listing price was 70€, which is ok, I think.
The "only" problem is that it says 14 days to deliver, which usually means, it is out of stock and touch being discontinued... :S we'll se ![]() |
