Mantano reader run on the Glo or Aura?

Does the Mantano reader software run on either of these? If so, is it a simple install or do you have to jb the reader?

The Glo & Aura don't run Android, so no Mantano doesn't run on them.

There is a project running Android on the Glo, but I haven't been following the thread so I don't know how well it runs, but with that it might be a possibility...

Thanks, good to know, so if I want the Kobo I'll need to be accepting of its software - difficult to find out what it actually does - am downloading the user manual so hopefully I'll get an answer to that. Appreciate your help.

There's a Kobo developer forum here...
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=247

There are a few projects for other software...
Koreader
Cool Reader

Depends on what you want it to do I suppose. Between asking questions here on MR and checking out a few Youtube videos you'll probably get a good idea of what it's like. Also some indie bookstores carry them and so does Family Christian so you might be able to find someplace in your are to get a hands on.

Thanks, taking your advice and watching Youtube videos - maybe I won't have to worry about Mantano, so far the software looks good. There is a store with the Glo about 120 miles from me that I may check out.

Here is the install procedures to have both CoolReader3 and Koreader along with the programming that comes with the device.
