That's a tall order as no doubt there are some spelling mistakes in most ebooks as many come from Gutenberg and even the best editor can't always catch everything. If you had asked for a favorite book by Mr. Twain I'd have to say "Tom Sawyer." It's been yrs since I read it and some (of the comedic) parts still can make me chuckle.

What have you done yourself to find the best accurate work by Mark Twain we have available here? Have you already browsed our library yourself? Which versions didn't meet your criteria?

GrannyGrump's Twain editions here in the MR library are the most beautiful you can find. As for accuracy, I haven't come across any obvious errors in what I've read in them, but I'm sure Granny will be more than happy if readers point out any mistakes they may come across.

Spelling mistakes and other errors are everywhere: Even in your post above where you fail to capitalize the "i". A reality check is that there will always be some errors in just about any ebook. You can act your responsible part and report any errors to the publisher. By the way, you misspelled the word opinion: "opnion" ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The point is that we ALL make mistakes, whether we're in a hurry or not. Ebooks have errors in them. That's a fact of life, like constipation. I honestly feel that to expect otherwise - where no errors exist at all - is an unrealistic expectation. Find a book by an author you love and have fun! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
