new kobo touch out of the box charge and will not power on
Hey all, I bought a kobo touch for my brother for christmas, and I am trying to get it to power on, and it will not.
This is the second kobo device I have tried this week after a constantly resetting mini was taken back to walmart... Kinda annoyed here that I have another device that is not working. Was there a bad batch or something? I haven't owned a kobo (my last touch worked great, sold to a friend) for a couple of years... Last edited by batkinson001; 12-05-2013 at 10:24 AM. |

I ended up taking back the black touch and got a white one, I am updating it as I type... the updating screen (black) was flashing on and off with the booting screen with the moving squares... update still completed though. The touch is on 3.0.1 so far no issues encountered (other than input lag) after playing with it for a bit and loading up my account. I will keep an eye on the touch for a bit before i reset it and box it up for Christmas...
